After an 8-year career in the corporate world with two Fortune 500 corporations (Phillip Morris and Coca Cola USA), Autry founded his first entrepreneurial venture: Cafe Carolina & Bakery. The Autry Group built and operated 11 locations statewide and successfully exited the company in 2005. In 2010, Autry built a sports technology venture, VSTRATOR, which created a universal platform to help athletes accelerate their performance through the use of video analysis and virtual coaching. Vstrator enjoyed multiple JV's with professional athletes & teams including tennis great Rafael Nadal, NFL standout Reggie Bush, the San Francisco Giants and others. Other business interests include experiential marketing, angel investing and consulting to start ups. Currently, Autry is merging his passion for tennis with his entrepreneurial spirit to launch the next generation tennis/health & wellness facility located in the heart of Raleigh, NC. Working with the United States Tennis Association, Triangle Racquet Sports is slated to be one of only six USTA regional training facilities in the country. The facility will reflect Triangle Racquet Sports' mission to create a more active community by embedding healthy living in its design. The estimated $35 million facility will be comprised of 51 tennis courts, both indoor and outdoor, a center court that seats 2,500, 32 clay and 18 hard surface courts; pickleball and squash courts; a public park including trails a playground, shelter and restrooms; a family zone for all residents; and health and fitness facilities and is slated to begin construction in 2019.
